The Role:
We are looking for a talented and capable WMS Project Delivery Consultant to perform the necessary analysis and consultation to identify business issues and functional solution requirements for a range of Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System clients. You will be working directly with clients to gather an understanding of their business needs and assist them in the configuration and implementation of Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS.
The role will involve translating business requirements into functional design documents, validating requirements and designing, configuring and implementing solutions on Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS. The successful candidate will be flexible and possess a ‘can-do’ attitude. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a fresh challenge and develop your career in a dynamic and growing company.
Some of the key responsibilities of a Project Delivery Consultant include, but are not limited to:
- Working with the Project team to provide workable solutions as part of the discuss / develop / deliver phases of an implementation project
- Taking responsibility for solution configuration documentation, set up and expertise across the full project lifecycle
- Designing, developing and testing the interfaces
- Providing customer support and troubleshooting issues where required
- Being responsible for project delivery from post sales demo to go-live and beyond as required
- Issue recording through to resolution and liaising with Blue Yonder (or other vendors) and providing support to help resolve software issues
- Providing pre-sales support: setting up of demo systems, configuration, data load, scenario advice, testing and supporting sales meeting from a technical perspectivePerform necessary analysis and consultation to identify business issues, functional solution requirements.
The Person
The key skills and qualities of a Project Delivery Consultant:
- A high level of functional, technical and development knowledge in Blue Yonder Warehouse Management (RedPrairie, JDA, Dispatcher, DLx) versions from 2013 onwards
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- 5-10 years’ implementation and configuration experience in Blue Yonder WMS (Dispatcher or Discrete) supply chain and distribution industry preferred
