Job Title: Project Delivery Consultant – Blue Yonder WMS

Job Type: Permanent

Job Location: Home base, UK + travel


The role includes but is not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform necessary analysis and consultation to identify business issues, functional solution requirements.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional design documents.
  • Validate requirements, design, configure and implement solution on Blue Yonder WMS (Discrete).
  • Works directly with the clients to gather an understanding of their business needs and assists the client in configuration and implementation of Blue Yonder WMS.
  • Lead functional and technical discussions with the client including integrating WMS to ERP.
  • Travel to the client site for delivery of solutions is required. This may be UK/EU/MEA
  • Assist in training of customer management team, internal resources and end-users.
  • as you might expect with a growing dynamic company, the role needs to be flexible and will require a ‘can-do’ attitude.

To Include:

  • Solution Design – working with the Project team to provide workable solutions as part of the Discuss/Develop/Deliver phases of an implementation project.
  • Project & Product workshops and customer meetings
  • Solution Configuration documentation, set up and expertise – full project lifecycle
  • Interface design, development & testing
  • Customer Support & Troubleshooting issues
  • Other Product(s) Design documentation & Testing – new product or connectivity to other suppliers’ solutions
  • Ability to mentor / train such as: iReports, System Admin, Other Products or concepts for Customer or Socius24 Staff.
  • In-depth knowledge of MOCA, DDA’s and scripting
  • Project delivery from post sales demo to go-live and beyond if required.
  • Issue recording through to resolution; Spreadsheet or Jira if we believe required. Liaison with Blue Yonder (or other vendors) Support to help resolve software issues.
  • Pre-sales support – set up of demo systems, configuration, data load, scenario advice, testing and supporting sales meeting from a technical perspective.
  • Socius24 Software & Services advocate.
  • At all times to drive customer satisfaction, be professional and courteous, providing prompt responses, honest, positive, loyal & approachable.

Required Skills:

  • Strong Functional, Technical and Development knowledge in Blue Yonder Warehouse Management (RedPrairie Discrete DLx) versions from 2013 Onwards.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • 5-10 years’ implementation and configuration experience in Blue Yonder WMS (Discrete) supply chain and distribution industry preferred.
